All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide health care organization founded in 1913 with one goal in mind: to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
With this goal in mind, the American Cancer Society plays a number of roles. They provide information for cancer patients to find supportive communities, and treatment options at all stages in the cancer journey. The American Cancer Society sponsors nationwide fundraising events, such as Relay-For-Life, as well as fund research to find cures.
A representative from the American Cancer Society will be available at the May 17th event to answer questions regarding support, available resources, etc.
