How You Can Help
1. Reserve a dove.
We ask that dove reservations be made by May 1st to ensure the right number of doves are available for the event. Donations for dove reservation can be made in advance or at the event.
2. Come to the event on May 17th.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Rockford Lions Park. In addition to the dove release, there will be music, food, and face painting. Dove release to commence at noon.
3. Share the event information.
Call your friends. Talk to your family, and share with your neighbors. Get them involved in the event. It's about community supporting community, after all.
4. Donate.
Donations can be made in several ways; see below for details. All proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society.
Along with your donation, please indicate if you would like to release the dove yourself or have the dove released as a part of a group. You may donate for more than one dove, but please recognize that there is a one dove per person limit at the actual release. Additional doves may be released by family members, or released as a part of a group. Grouped doves will be released from baskets.
UPDATE: Get a massage. Give a donation. There will be multiple massage therapists set up at the event giving massages in exchange for donations. The perfect remedy for all that Spring cleaning & yard-work you've been doing.

$25 - Reserve a dove to release in honor of a loved one
Support at the Event
$5/person ($20/family) - Enjoy the event, and grab some lunch. We will be serving soup, and there will be side options of breadsticks and a dessert.
$99 - Lunderby Photography will have a table set up at the event. For a $99 donation to the American Cancer Society you will receive a $400 gift certificate voucher!! ($200 to go toward a photography session & the other $200 to purchase pictures).
Free Face Painting - There will be a face painting station set up from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Arrive at the event early so you don't miss out! Donations appreciated.
